I write primarily either historical events and people or future events and people. But a case can be made for writing about current events. There are a lot of possibilities; here’s a few:

What is a Sound Mind?
This is a healthy, sane mind. Not a mind given to unreasonable thinking. In the case of the coronavirus pandemic, it means not to be caught up in all the hysteria.
People in the media pushed the panic mode, but here in the United States we have relatively few cases when compared to other countries. The travel bans regarding China (Feb. 3, 2020) have slowed the spread into the United States. In fact there is evidence that the 2017 travel bans on China also slowed it down.
Democratic socialism is a political philosophy that advocates political democracy alongside social ownership of the means of production, with an emphasis on self-management and democratic management of economic institutions within a market or some form of decentralized planned socialist economy.
Recently New York State passed a law that allows the inhumane murder of unborn babies. It is an atrocity that violates Christian values and Biblical directives. In fact, it violates all morality represented by Christianity and even man-made religion. I know of no religion that supports such cruelty.
Last Monday I wrote about the Holocaust which was the attempt by Hitler’s Germany to destroy Jewish people. Today I’m writing about another Holocaust, the attempt by liberals to destroy defenseless humans we call the unborn. Another name is infanticide!
In recent years the Democratic Party has made a hard left in their vision for the future of America. There is little left of the party of Roosevelt and Kennedy.
