Liar, Liar

The Riddle Report 03 12 2021

Yesterday, 03 11 2021, President Joe Biden took to the airwaves for his first speech since taking office on January 20th. In his speech, he took full credit for the ongoing manufacturing and distribution of the vaccines. This is a lie.

But the speech was sort of a 50-day celebration I suppose. Prior to the speech he signed the latest Stimulus Package, which means money should be going out to deserving people this weekend. Although the package was passed without Republican support, the stimulus checks were supported by both parties.

So, he was celebrating the passage of a 1.9 Billion package that was loaded with pork.

News Item #1 “The Big Lie”

“A year ago, we were hit with a virus that was met with silence and spread unchecked.

“Denials for days, weeks, then months that led to more deaths, more infections, more stress, and more loneliness.”

That was his opening line and it was the big lie.

Instead of silence look at the following timeline:

  • January 3, 2020 – the United States offered to help China investigate the virus. Although later repeated, the offer was never really accepted.
  • January 6, 2020 – the CDC issued a Level I travel notice for Wuhan, China.
  • January 17, 2020 – CDC began screening 3 international airports.
  • January 20, 2020 – Dr. Fauci announced the NIH was already working on developing a vaccine.
  • January 31, 2020 – by the end of the month the administration had:
    • Issued a Level III travel ban (widely criticized by Biden and other liberals as being paranoia)
    • Organized White House Coronavirus Task Force
    • Declared a public health emergency
    • Announced Chinese travel restrictions
    • Suspended entry into the U.S. by foreign nationals at risk of transmitting the virus.

Does that sound like silence to you? Denials? The only denials came from Biden and company. Trump did deny statements and accusations by liberals, but he and his administration were already engaged.

News Item #2 “The Implied Lie”

“You lost your job. You closed your business. Facing eviction, homelessness, hunger, a loss of control, and maybe worst of all, a loss of hope.

“Watching a generation of children who may be set back up to a year or more – because they’ve not been in school – because of their loss of learning.”

Was any of that untrue? No!

But the implied lie that it was Trump’s fault is demonstrably false.

Most of the above statements happened in states that were near or were in total lockdown. Most of those states were run by Democrats who ordered the shutdowns. But most Republican run states did only partial shutdowns and began reopening as soon as possible.

A case in point is Florida where the Governor began reopening the state despite liberal protests and media condemnation. New York, which totally shutdown, led the nation in deaths, and just about every other category.

As for the schools, this happened in virtually all states, but again the Republican led states began working to reopen the schools as quickly as possible. It hasn’t always been pretty, but it has been largely successful except for one problem.

The Teachers union.

Despite assurances from CDC and the Dr. Fauci, teachers have been opposed to reopening the schools. The result has been a shortage of teachers and children being robbed of their education. And now, parents are actively pushing for the reopening.

News Item #3 “The Vaccine”

“When I took office 50 days ago, only 8 percent of Americans after months…”

Another implied lie: that nothing had been done toward vaccinating people by the Trump Administration. Let’s look at some more facts:

  • December 11, 2020 – Johnson and Johnson vaccine approved for use
  • December 18, 2020 – Moderna’s vaccine approved
  • January 20, 2021 – Trump’s last day in office; 1.5 million vaccinated
  • March 11, 2021 – 1st 50 days of Biden Administration; 1.4 million vaccinated.

Do the math: Trump administration vaccinated 1.5 million people between 12/11/2020 and 01/20/2021 for approximately 27 days; Biden administration vaccinated 1.4 million people between 01/20/2021 and 03/11/2021. Or put another way, the Trump administration vaccinated 100,000 more people in 23 less days.

Lest I forget, the Trump administration partnered with Johnson and Johnson to increase capacity to manufacture more vaccine and in record time. Translate the word ‘capacity’ to build a factory and you get the kind of commitment made.

News Item #4 “What it Could Have Been”

It would have been a great time for President Biden to show his commitment to unity. All he had to do was acknowledge what the Trump administration had done and congratulate or thank them. Then he could have bragged about how he was continuing the work. Instead, he tried to take all the credit.

News Item #5 “the 25th “Getting the Truth”

If you want the truth, you have to get out there and find it. It isn’t really hard, but your local paper isn’t going to tell you, nor is your television. And you can’t trust the social media. Facebook, YouTube, and others only want you to talk about their agenda. Your traditional sources of information are no longer reliable.

But the good news is that there are newer resources such as Rumble, MeWe, DuckDuck, and others. Find out what works for you. But in the end, it is your responsibility to find the truth.

Surprised Yet?

The Riddle Report 03 09 2021

Joe Biden has been President long enough for us to start evaluating his Presidency. I’ve titled this blog “Surprised Yet” because of actions he’s taken and because of Congressional efforts to remove War Powers from him. On the first day of taking office, Jan. 20th, President Biden issued numerous executive orders, proclamations, and more.

News Item #1 “Keystone XL Pipeline”

This is a devastating order! Taking into consideration the people building the pipeline along with those that would be involved in the construction of the pipeline, its maintenance, and the supply chain (providing food, lodging, transportation, and the like), the State Department estimated 26,100 employees altogether.

All of these were essentially lost. But don’t worry. The government says these workers can retrain for the Green Economy. Talk about a pipe dream!

If you are a worker in your 20s, then you might be able to be retrained. But if you are in your thirties and above, have married, and care for a family, then it becomes increasingly harder.

By the way, no mention is made as when to expect this windfall of jobs from a Green Economy that doesn’t exist as of yet.

News Item #2 “Reversed Travel Ban from Muslim Countries”

No one wants to profile other people, nor do we want to keep people out of America if they truly want to come and enjoy American freedoms. But the truth is that the terrorists out there who hate Americans are primarily Muslims.

Opening our doors to these terrorists is a major mistake that will probably cost American dollars and lives. So far, there are neither plans in place nor plans being considered to vet incoming Muslims.

A lot of real refugees will come to America prepared to dream and to work to bring that dream into reality. But along with them will come those with hatred in their hearts and a plan to destroy America. And without restrictions or a realistic vetting of immigrants, we have no way of stopping them!

News Item #3 “Pause New Oil and Gas Leasing”

Once again, we are causing people to lose their jobs. And the loss of these jobs will also impact far beyond just the men and women working on them. It will be widespread before it is over.

Think of it this way. You lose a few thousand workers and it is like a small drop of oil on your floor. But then there are other industries and their employees that are at least in part dependent on your job. Add some, not necessarily all, to the drop and it grows bigger.

As time goes on and the leak continues that drop grows into a small puddle, then a pool, and finally a pond or worse. Eventually it becomes a flood that cannot be contained or stopped. Additional jobs will be lost in other industries that are dependent industry. What started out as a manageable problem has become unmanageable and our country is dying from a return to double-digit unemployment and perhaps stagnation.

But don’t worry. The Green Economy is coming. You only have to wait 30 years!

News Item #4 “2021 Stimulus Package”

While at the writing of this blog the legislation hasn’t been passed yet, the stimulus package will provide relief to the common folk. But there is also a great deal of pork in the package. This undoubtedly will cause acute economic problems down the road.

President Biden is looking at the problem through myopic glasses. He sees a future of green grasses and people wiping away tears of joy. What he doesn’t realize is that such a future is a long way away and those tears are not of joy but of heart ache and sadness. You see, they are standing on the graves of loved ones sacrificed to bring this utopia about.

Historically speaking, liberals come up with these grandiose dreams and then conservatives come along, tinker with them, and make them work. But with the new “cancel culture” and the clamping down on conservative opinion there may not be any conservatives left to make the system work.

Just saying.

News Item #5 “the 25th Amendment”

In case, you’ve forgotten the 25th Amendment was added for the purpose of a smooth transfer of power in case the President was ‘unfit’ for office due to a number of factors, including mental illness.

I keep hearing talk of the 25th Amendment being invoked to unseat President Biden. The poor man is doing everything in his power to keep such an eventuality at bay. His problem, aside from signs of senility, is his Vice President. While he is not Left enough to please the extreme liberals, she is right in step with them.

While he fights to keep his job, Kamala Harris sits back and waits. Time is on her side. Sooner or later, his propensity to forget and make mental mistakes will force the issue. And she will be ready!

The question is, Will America be ready? The answer is probably not. We will be so distracted by his behavior, that we almost give a sigh of relief when it happens. And then we’ll discover how bad a President she will be!

A New President

The Riddle Report 01 20 2021

News Item #1

We have a new President. Actually two. We have a new current President Joe Biden and we have a new Standing By President Kamala Harris, although her title is Vice President.

Most observers don’t expect Biden to last more than one term with the Vice President expected to run in 2024. But there are also a great many who don’t believe Biden will finish his first term.

This is not due to any form of death, but rather to the strongly suspected, if not known, case of Dementia. We all saw evidence of it during the campaign to become the Candidate and again during the Presidential campaign itself.

But for the time being he is President of the United States of America. Some people are saying he’s not their President. That is foolishness. Whether you voted for him or not, he is your President as long as he holds that office.

As such, it is our duty as citizens to respect and honor him. You have the right to disagree with him, to oppose him, and fight against his agenda, but you do not have the right to malign him. Only the Democrats have that right as they demonstrated the last four years!

News Item #2

I did not watch the inauguration for two reasons. One I was busy and secondly, I have a pretty good idea what kind of President he will be. He may speak of unifying the country, but he and the Democrats in Congress have already telegraphed that disunity is their agenda.

The biggest question is what will he do beginning today? Will he push for the Green New Deal or for a stronger economy as Trump did; will he approach Covid-19 with a crushing lockdown or a balanced approach such as Trump did; and will he put globalism first or America first as Trump did?

Speeches are fine, but actions speak louder than words. We’ll wait and see.

News Item #3

I’ve noticed that Mitch McConnell has turned against Trump. Perhaps he thinks his constituency will forget. I doubt it.

News Item #4

While today is a sad day for Conservatives it is wise to remember that we survived 8 years of President Obama. We can survive Biden.

Christians need to pray for our new President as we are commanded in the Bible. America still has the best government in the world, and we need to pray for it and work to improve it. In two years the Biden/Harris legacy will be apparent.

What needs to be done is work to negate voter fraud and build a strong grass roots that can build upon the Trump campaign accomplishments.

News Item #5

Unsubstantiated

This was the term we heard over and over from the news media. The word means ‘not proven to be true’ or ‘not supported by other evidence’.

But the media used it as a catch phrase. The fact is nothing can be substantiated if it is not first examined. At no time during the aftermath of the election was the evidenced looked at by the courts. Instead, judges dismissed the evidence without taking the time to examine it.

In the case of the Supreme Court, cases were refused because the litigants had no ‘standing’. This is foolhardy!

Every citizen of the United States, no matter what state they resided in, had standing. That is because everyone stood to lose or gain if fraud was found. The Court failed us. And this failure casts a cautionary light upon the Court for future cases no matter their nature.

It is scary.

What Will I Do?

First, let me tell you what I won’t do.

I won’t wring my hands and cry, “Oh me!”

I won’t take up arms against my government.

I won’t leave America.

But here is what I will do:

I will pray for our President.

I will pray for members of Congress.

I will pray for Supreme Courts judges.

I will pray for America.

I will pray for Revival.

By the way, that is what I have been doing for years!

Confirmed?

The Riddle Report 12 15 2020

We live in an era when the news media thinks it is the arbiter of facts, truth, and the American Way. But the news media has continually abused our founding fathers’ belief that they should inform Americans honestly and without prejudice. But the news media has long left the honest reporting of news. The latest example, because the Electoral College voted for Biden over Trump, they claim it is over and Biden is President-Elect.

No, it isn’t!

No, he isn’t!

The facts keep getting in the way of these statements.

Fact: There are multiple lawsuits in the federal court system working their way to the Supreme Court.

Fact: The United States Constitution gave the power to determine electoral votes to the state legislatures, not the governor nor the secretary of state.

Fact: The only date that is considered hard is January 20th and that has flexibility.

These are all facts. Denying them doesn’t change them. Let’s take a look.

Lawsuits

The Texas filing failed because it was determined they had no standing and could not prove they would be harmed by the election outcome. That is the only reason the Supreme Court rejected the filing.

But now there are multiple lawsuits filed within battleground states that do have standing and could be harmed by the outcome. These lawsuits have been filed and are in the federal system. One way or another these have to be dealt with.

But there are other lawsuits also in the system. These have been filed by Sidney Powell and must also be dealt with. Powell is a former federal prosecutor and knows a thing or two about the law. She has been investigating the criminal side of the election and has already filed several lawsuits. Again, these must be dealt with.

On the basis of the lawsuits themselves the case of election fraud continues. By the way, the media keeps saying no evidence seen. But that is because they are not looking. All of these cases are supported by evidence.

Another point. I am not a lawyer, but I believe it is improper to put your evidence out in the public. It belongs in court where it can be examined by lawyers and judges.

State Legislatures

Each state shall appoint, in such manner as the legislature thereof may direct, a number of electors…

U.S. Constitution, Article II, Section 1

That clearly gives state legislatures the sole power to determine electors. No state, not even the state legislature, can take that responsibility away. Can they delegate? It would seem so, but they are still responsible.

Can state or federal courts overturn it? No. It is in the Constitution.

So, what does that mean?

It means they still have the power. Since the electors were verified by the governor or secretary of state, it is my understanding that the state legislature can still invalidate the votes. And at least some of the state legislatures are investigating and may take action.

January 20th

The Congress may determine the time of choosing the electors, and the day on which they shall give their votes; which day shall be the same throughout the United States. U.S. Constitution, Article II, Section 1

All the other dates are determined by law. However, even January 20th is not stated in the Constitution. There are several contingencies affecting that date. The Constitution has determined that the term of office for President and Vice President is four years. That means President Donald Trump’s current term expires on January 20th, thus establishing that date as the final date.

But remember those contingencies? If there is no winner by this date then the contingencies will be activated, which could end up with the Speaker of the House or the President Pro Tempore of the Senate becoming Acting President.

The mass media and Social Media monopolies like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube ignore the above facts and may even deny them. But if we are a nation of laws centered upon the U.S. Constitution then the above is pertinent.

Want to fact check this article? Get out your copy of the Constitution or go to the local library and get a copy. Check out Article II, Section 1 plus Amendment XII and XV.
