Study your Bible and your history book and you will find that both Jew and Christian have endured more persecution than any other religious faith.
When writing about the persecuted church it might be wise to take a step back and consider what church I am talking about. In this day and age the word church has become a huge umbrella that includes “Christians” that don’t really belong under that label.
The anti-Christian movement has reached our colleges.
That’s right. In the very place we expect open discussions and tolerance the opposite occurs where Christianity is involved. Christians are ridiculed, ignored, and/or punished. Belief in the Bible is equated with ignorance even though many of these colleges were started by Christians. Christian beliefs and behavior is frowned up.
Just the knowledge that the government is taking a step back from anti-Christian behavior and getting out of our way is enough to encourage us.
