Anytime the reader uses his or her imagination it is a good thing.
A good practice is to always preview your book before publishing. You don’t want the gutter too big that it becomes part of the front or back covers. Nor do you want it too small causing the front and back covers to overlap the gutter.
There are probably a number of descriptions of what Writer’s Block is but I’m going to keep it general. Because where you are writing books, blogs, or anything else writer’s block can occur. And there are many causes and helps. But I am zooming in on taking a break.
Question: What does it take to stop you?
The answer to that question reveals how committed you are, and it tells you what you need to do to be more committed.
Should I Write a Series or a Single Book?
I have written single books and I’ve written books within a series. The answer really depends on you. Some people only want to write one or two books at the most. And that is fine.
For such people I would encourage them to think about multiple books, series or not.
For starters Indie is short for Independent. Basically, that is a person who has chosen to write and publish their books apart from traditional or even so-called self-publishing venues. It is a person who is going the DIY (Do It Yourself) route.
Another benefit of using a DBA is the low reporting requirements and fees. Instead of dealing with time consuming reports we get one per quarter that is a single page which I do online. It allows me time to work the business.
If you watch my video series Its Your Business you will learn about Types of Business. There are Corporations, Limited Liability Corporation, Partnership, and Doing Business As (DBA). I favor the DBA because it costs less, easier to establish, and requires less reporting.

If you do state a location, whether fact or fiction, be sure of your description. This is especially true of actual places. You don’t want a reader who has been there to dispute your facts.
