My very first book ever written was Refuge: The Genesis Chronicles. This book would later be incorporated into Perished: The World That Was. It was a look at the 120 years leading up to the Flood.
Research is almost a dirty word, but it is necessary for both the non-fiction and fiction writer. For a novel to connect with the reader it needs to have actual facts.
I am really thankful that the Lord God watched over us throughout these days keeping us safe from harm on the road and healing us from sickness. I also am thankful that he provided Teresa’s sister to chauffeur us around. That was a blessing.
When using a historical person do your research. You want your character as believable as possible.
When choosing a title and/or subtitle make it as relevant to the story as possible.
